Hola everyone. IT SNOWED THIS WEEKEND!!!!!! First, lets start with last weekend, Hannah and I had Aaron and Melissa over for dinner on Friday and it was very good. Melissa is a Grand Valley graduate and teaches in Ogden City SD. She also mentioned that there are 2 couples and one single girl that are graduates from Grand Valley that teach in Ogden City SD. We hope to connect with them at sometime...we are hoping to find more couples our own age to hang out with and we are glad to have met Melissa and Aaron. On the Saturday we went on top of the gondola at one of the ski resorts here in Utah. We went with our friend Deb (my fellow RA who lives in SLC). It was a good day and it was very beautiful but cold, there are pictures below. On Sunday we went to church and also our Alpine 201 meeting which was good and we hope to get more involved in church.
Now, this past weekend we also had a good time. This past Friday we had dinner with Aaron and Melissa again but this time it we also had dinner with Chis and Bre. Chris is the youth pastor at Alpine. We had a great time at dinner and ended up staying at the restaurant for 3+ hours. On Saturday we took a chill day, because it snowed most of the day (pictures are below). We hope to to reconnect with Keith and Emily this week and perhaps introduce them to Melissa and Aaron. On Sunday we went to church again and Hannah was asked to teach preschool in kids church and she accepted. I am still looking at where I can serve. Hannah also has found a girl friend she can hang out with when she wants to go shopping etc and do girly things. Her name is Becky and she is really nice...the only downside is that she will be leaving in January for her mission (she is LDS) so that is not so cool.
There are of course countless other things that have occurred and I would love to talk about...but I just don't have time. We continue to ask for your prayers and we will continue to pray for all of you. We would love to have you come visit if you like and we miss you all...but we are doing well.
