This past week was a long week of teaching, for both of us. This past Wednesday, Hannah and I both had parent teacher conferences from 1-7pm. I had about about 90+ parents see me and Hannah had 8, 4 Special students and 4 peer tutors. Actually, the conferences went fairly smoothly for both Hannah and I, it just made for a long day. The rest of the week just seemed to drag.
This past Saturday, Hannah and I went on a hike up near Logan with Keith and Emily (See Pictures Below). We had a good time and it was good to get to know Keith and Emily a little more. The hike we went on was beautiful and at the end of the hike we saw some caves or Windcaves as they are called. Hannah and I are a little out of shape...and because of this, I am looking into a gym membership. After the hike we went out to eat a a dinner in Logan, the food was pretty decent.
Today (Sunday), we went to church and the sermon was excellent. We also stated after to attend a class called Alpine 101, which goes through the basics of Christianity and a little about what Alpine Church believes. In a couple of weeks they will be offering a Alpine 201, course which goes deeper into the church believes and give more opportunity for service. They also mentioned something about a Alpine 301 course. We are excited because the people at the church are very friendly. Hannah is attending a "ladies tea" tonight at the church. One of the girls we met at the young adults group invited her this morning.
Thanks all for reading our blog. Again, we would love to have you visit us. We also continue to keep you all in our prayers and we ask for your prayers also.
