More Hikes and Church

This past week again, was not very eventful, Hannah was/is homesick, but other then that it was just another boring week of teaching. Today on the other hand was much more interesting. We decided to visit Deb down in Salt Lake City and go on a hike, it was good to see Deb again and I think she was happy to see us. We went to REI and I got new hiking boots, we then went out to lunch then went on a hike near Park City, it was a beautiful hike, there were lots of Aspen and Pine trees. After the hike, Hannah and I headed back to Ogden because there was a meeting at our church, that was a "get to know the staff". This meeting was great, we got to know the pastors better. The two teaching pastors graduated from Wheaton with there Masters, and they other pastors were really nice. We also exchanged emails with an older couple that have three kids who just moved to Utah from Illinois. The most exciting part of the night was when you realize how small our world really is, because one of the preaching pastors named Steve and his wife knew of Clare and were really good friends with a lady from Hannah's church in Clare who is the daughter of our MC Bonnie Ray from our wedding. Steve and his wife were actually in Clare this summer only 2 miles from Hannah's house. We are excited to get more involved with Alpine and to see what God has in store for us. We continue to ask for your  prayers and we will continue to pray for you. We would love to have you come visit, and I will try to get some pictures up of the hike sometime.
