Boilermaker and Home Owner

Hello all. Most of you know this already, but some of you may not and you may want to see some pictures. I have decided to become a Purdue Boilermaker. This was not an easy decision but after lots of prayer and thinking aloud I have decided on Purdue. My visit to MSU went really well and it is a great school but I felt as though I would fit in better at Purdue. That is the first major decision last week.

The second major decision was that Hannah and I (with help from the in-laws) have bought a house!!! It is a beautiful 3 bedroom and 2.5 bath house. It is 2 stories and 1600 sq. ft. The house is in West Lafayette only about 2 miles from campus. There are pictures below. We are really excited about this and we think we made the right choice. The house does need new siding (Currently it has wood siding and we will change it to vinyl which we should be able to afford...thanks to the 8,000 dollar tax credit) and the wood flooring needs to be either refinished or replaced...which can wait. We should hopefully close by May 15...so please pray that the whole process goes smoothly. We thank God for all the blessing he has given us and we are excited(and nervous) for what He has in plan for us. Then next big hurtle is Hannah finding a job...so please keep her in your prayers.
